Marylee will be doing a travel slideshow of her trips overseas. She is a lover of wildlife and will describe the many species she has seen throughout her travels.

MAY 16: Session with Stuart Martin

Stuart will be doing a sing-along. Stuart is a renowned pianist. He will have a keyboard and play oldies tunes for LGBTQ seniors to enjoy! In addition, Stuart will be showing a video about Vancouver Symphony’s Orchestra performance, Whale Song.

The Vancouver Public Library will present about their Inspiration Pass for low-income seniors and share ideas as to how to make the most of the public library!

MARCH 21: ‘The North’ Documentary

Harris Taylor will show some of her documentary footage shot while living in the Yukon and Eastern Arctic when working for the Canada Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) many years ago. This is a rare opportunity to see footage of a lifestyle and landscape that is virtually unknown to most of us.

FEBRUARY 15: Quirk-e Session!

Quirk-e (Queer Imaging and Riting Kollective of Elders) will be joining us in this instalment of our Seniors Sessions! They are a group of LGBTQ elders who create writing that reflects their histories and identities and will be sharing work from a recent publication titled Basically Queer: An intergenerational guide to LGBTQ lives.
