Welcome, Michael!

QMUNITY is pleased to welcome Michael Cacace (he / him / his) as our new Specialist – Seniors Programming.

Michael is a registered social worker from Calgary, AB, who relocated to the metro Vancouver area in July 2018.

Michael has worked in the LGBTQ2SA+ community since 2012, specializing in community and peer support program development, in addition to community education. Throughout Michael’s career, he has worked collaboratively to develop Calgary’s first inclusive and dedicated older adult and newcomer programs for gender and sexual diversity. In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his partner and dogs in nature. While alone, Michael can be found keeping busy with creative projects- always with a cup of coffee in hand.
