QMUNITY’s Pridespeaks Program is a part of our education services. Pridespeaks provides meaningful volunteer and professional development opportunities for youth to facilitate workshops in schools, classrooms and other youth spaces (eg. after-school programs, clubs, etc.). The Pridespeaks workshops are designed to address LGBTQIA2S+ issues, sexism, gender identity and stereotypes in the classroom and provide tools for allyship and combat discrimination and bullying in school. Pridespeaks are usually delivered in teams of two, and provide students aged K – 12 non-judgmental information in an interactive setting.
Due to COVID-19, workshops will be taking place virtually until it is safe to return to in-person bookings.
