Rate Eligibility Information

QMUNITY room rentals are provided for a Standard rate and a discounted Community Member rate as described below:

  1. Current QMUNITY members (individuals or businesses) receive the Community Member rate. Membership can be purchased or renewed here.
  2. Organizations with a mandate to serve LGBTQ/2S communities receive the Community Member rate. In addition, the Community Member rate may apply for organizations renting space for LGBTQ/2S specific events (e.g., financial planning for LGBTQ/2S couples).
  • If you believe you qualify for the Community Member rate, please include your mandate as well as any supporting documentation (e.g., website link) when completing the rental request form below.

Cancellation Policy

QMUNITY will offer a full refund of your event payment, or will cancel any scheduled invoice as long as you notify QMUNITY — in writing or through telephone — 48-hours prior to the start of your booking.

  • Please indicate how you prefer to be contacted. A member of the QMUNITY staff will be in contact with you regarding your booking request, within one business day (between the hours of 10:00am and 6:00pm).
  • Rate and Event Information

  • If you believe you qualify for the Community Member rate, please include your mandate as well as any supporting documentation (e.g., website link).
  • Please consult the room details on our rental page and select your desired room(s): Note: All spaces, with the exception of the Accessible Office, are located on the second level of the building. Please be aware there is a flight of 23 stairs to reach the meeting rooms.
  • Please include your desired date and time for the booking. If this is a repeat event, and you will require the room for an on-going period, please indicate the future meeting schedule (e.g., meets monthly on the second Tuesday). We will do our best to accommodate your booking, subject to availability.
  • Additional equipment may be available for rent, subject to availability. Please consult the equipment details on our rental page and select your desired item(s):
  • Please provide any additional information that will assist us in making the booking.
  • QMUNITY publishes an online calendar of daily public events happening in our spaces, which can be viewed at the following link: http://qmunity.ca/calendar/ Note that visible calendar events must be open to the public.

 

  • Fees are subject to change without notice.
  • Fees apply as currently published.
  • Security and other forms of deposit and/or advance payment may be required and at the sole discretion of QMUNITY.
  • Space, furniture, and equipment are subject to availability; additional fees may apply. Some furniture and equipment may not be available in certain spaces.
  • Renter agrees to pay all fees as a result of damages or loss of equipment.
  • QMUNITY reserves the right to apply tiered rates and fees as it deems appropriate and at its sole discretion.
