QMUNITY acknowledges the territories of First Nations around B.C. and is grateful to carry out our work on these lands. We acknowledge the rights, interests, priorities, and concerns of all Indigenous peoples - First Nations, Metis, Inuit, and particularly the Two Spirit people within them - respecting and acknowledging their distinct cultures, histories, rights, laws, and governments. QMUNITY acknowledges the ongoing consequences of colonization that disproportionately harm Indigenous queer, trans and Two-Spirit people.
QMUNITY also acknowledges that our office and locations in which we work are on the occupied unceded ancestral territories of xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
